409 Diamond cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “North British Locomotive Company Ltd. Glasgow 1944 No. 25163”. v.g.c. Cleaned and lightly polished only. 13.7x5.5in. Ex-WD ‘Austerity’ 2-8-0 Loco No. 70821 delivered new to Ostende. Became LNER 3051 to Colwick, then BR 63051 & 90051 in 4/1949. w/d in 10/1965. 421 Oval cast brass ‘9x5’ Works Number Plate “London & North Eastern Railway 4842 Darlington Works 1932”. As carried by J39 Class 0-6-0 Loco No. 1453 later 64842. A Blaydon engine for many years it was w/d from Heaton 4/62 and cut up at Darlington Works 1/63. The plate is lightly face restored only and has a top lip for fitting to the shallow splasher of the J39.
410 North Eastern Rly. Printed Notice titled “Rulleymen” and detailing conditions of service, wages and hours relating to working with and looking after horses. The notice was displayed at Bridlington station and is dated “York, December 1912”. v.g.c. and in a glazed frame 16.6x13.6in. o/all. 422 BR(S) semi pictorial double royal Poster advertising Sea Links to the Continent and Ireland. Fine image of a ship at sea. Folds and minor nicks only.
411 “M&GN” cast iron Boundary Post (MR flattened rail type). Back embossed “E.V. Co. 6. 71”. Unrestored 50in. tall. 423 Enamel Advertising Sign “Shell Triple Lubricating Oil”. Edge and corner chips and corrosion loss to bottom left corner. Decent colour and shine though. 25x9.5in.
412 Box of Railway Carriage and Desk Top Ashtrays. All company marked and an interesting selection. Must be viewed. (Qty). 424 Oval cast aluminium Locomotive Cabside Number Plate “National Railways of Zimbabwe 20A 743”. Ex-loco condition with minor torch spill to bolt holes. 19x12.7in.
413 Two North Eastern Railway Handlamps. Both complete with interiors and glasses and in v.g.c. (2). 425 Four LNWR cast iron Signal Box Lever Description Plates “From Peterboro / Down Peterboro / 26 Points Unlocked / Crossing”. All v.g.c. and face restored only. (4).
414 LNER small copper Kettle. “L&NER 8” clearly stamped on the steel handle. v.g.c. complete with lid with brass knob. 426 NER Oil Can. Clearly stamped “NER” and with brass plates “NER” and “York MP”. v.g.c. Complete with stopper and chain.
415 Full set of six LNER First Series Cathedral plates by Wedgwood in their original box with illustrated label to lid. The plates, Durham, Ely, Lincoln, Norwich & Peterborough Cathedrals and York Minster are in v.g.c. The box is fair but a scarce survivor. 427 Two L&YR Guards Whistles. An early nickel fully titled button type and a wooden example with initials. Both v.g.c. (2).
416 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “14A” (Cricklewood). Face restored only. 428 Railway Signal Company cast iron solid ball & spike Signal Finial (GCR pattern). The ball embossed ”RS Co. 3156”. Lacks its wooden tip but very nicely restored. 28in. tall. Uncommon.
417 LNER 4 aspect Handlamp. Top stamped “LNER”, body stamped “R77” is brass plated “London & North Eastern Railway Ancaster”. Complete with vessel, burner, reflector and all glasses. Restored. A former GNR station between Grantham and Sleaford. 429 Galvanised Coal Bucket embossed in large letters “BR-E Brake Van” with a riveted brass plate “M/C Rep/s”. v.g.c. & unusual.
418 LMS official pewter Paperweight of Streamlined “Coronation” Pacific Loco upon a descriptive plinth with “LMS” in eye shaped panels to each end. Very good condition and scarce. 5.4in. long. 430 A fine pair of LNER silver plated Grape Scissors by Walker & Hall. Nicely top marked “LNER” initials in script. v.g.c.
419 BR(M) half flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Dinting”. Small chip to left of second “I” otherwise small chips only to the outer white band. The maroon is a tad faded and the flanges are repainted. A former MSLR station between Guide Bridge and Woodhead. 431 Two LMS oval cast Worksplates “Built 1939 Crewe” (brass) from either 8F 2-8-0 Loco 48098 - 48125 or 8P 4-6-2 No. 46235 - 39; “Built 1947 Crewe” (iron) from either ‘Black 5’ 4-6-0 44758 - 82 or Class ‘2’ 2-6-0 46410 - 19 or 8P 4-6-2 46256. Both have “LMS” ground off and are ex-loco. (2).
420 “GNR 4” oval cast iron Bridge Numberplate in totally unrestored condition. 432 Lincoln Corporation double sided cast aluminium “Stage Bus Stop” Sign bearing the red cross device of the city. v.g.c.
