361 Carriage Print.”The River Tweed and Niedpath Castle, Peebleshire” by Jack Merriott from the 1956-57 Scottish Region Series. The print is in v.g.c. applied to the back of the glass and is in an original frame. 373 “Fowler Diesel” etched brass Locomotive Radiator Plates. Each plate 15.25in. long for fitting either side of the loco headlamp. Good ex-loco condition.
362 “LMS Hotels” glass Carafe. The title face etched in a frosted vertical panel. A pleasing urn shape with a facetted neck. v.g.c. 9.4in. tall. 374 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “6C” (Birkenhead then Croes Newydd). Restored a while ago.
363 “Great Western Railway Hotels” silver plated half pint Tankard by Hutton, Sheffield. The company title and twin shields device clearly to the face. v.g.c. 375 “Midland Railway” 1909 Firebuckets enamel Sign. Enamel loss to one corner and light edge wear all re-touched to present a nice looking notice, with fine colour & shine. 11x6in.
364 Small oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “The Hunslet Engine Co. Ltd. Leeds No. 2661-1942”. Lightly cleaned only. “H1309” impressed in back. 8x5in. As carried by a 2ft. 3in. gauge 50 hp 4WDM flameproof mines loco supplied new to Barber Walker Co. Ltd. at Bentley Colliery near Doncaster. Scrapped in June 1965. 376 LNER 3 aspect Locomotive Headlamp complete with purple and red flip over shades, vessel & burner assembly and a good bullseye lens. These lamps were used on suburban services working out of Liverpool Street Station where additional colour variations were required.
365 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “1E” (Bletchley). Unrestored. 377 A collection of Scottish Railways Horse Harness Decorations comprising “G&SWRy. Co.” (H28 but with additional arms); “LM&S Ry. Co. (H91); “LMS” (H90) (4); “BR” (H114); “BR” (H113); “MH & Co. Ltd.” (not in Froggatt) Mutter Howey Carriers (2); plus a “Hutchinson Aberdeen” makers decoration and an unmarked thistle emblem. All are in nickel silver and mounted on a wooden shield. (14).
366 Oval cast iron Locomotive Builders Plate “Built 1958 Doncaster”. Ex-loco condition 10.6x6in. As carried by 370 HP 0-6-0 DE Shunter No. D3658 later 08503. Only 30 of this vast class of shunters were built at Doncaster so this is a scarce plate. 378 Large Webb & Thompson Single Line Staff with cast brass plates “Garforth Inner Junction” and “Kippax Station”. Annett’s points locking key to end. A section of former NER branch to Castleford south east of Leeds. The station located at Kippax closed in Jan 1951. Very good condition.
367 BR(S) fully flanged station Doorplate “Waiting Room”. Chips mainly to flanges. Very good colour & shine. 379 A wooden Train Headboard “The Lincolnshire Poacher” thought to have been carried by Deltic Locomotive D9009 “Alycidon” at the diesel running weekend, Great Central Railway 4th. Sept. 2010.
368 BR(E) 17 jewel Pocket Watch by Montine with Arabic 24 hour numerals and a subsidiary seconds dial. The back nicely incised “BR(E) 11607”. An unusual watch with ribbed bezels in very good working order complete with chain and button hole hook. 380 Oval cast iron ‘9x5’ Locomotive Works Numberplate “London & North Eastern Railway 1308 1947”. Face only repainted long ago. As carried by B1 Class 4-6-0 Loco built by the NBL Co. (26209 / 1948). Mainly a Kittybrewster, St. Margarets and Keith loco it was w/d 11/66 from Thornton Jct. and cut up 2/67 by Motherwell Machinery & Scrap Co. Wishaw.
369 GNR, London Electric Railway pattern 3 aspect Handlamp. The body is stamped “GNR” below the ex-service paintwork. It is thought that the lamp was used on the GN, Piccadilly & Brompton Rly. as it is L.E.R. pattern and traces of old red paint are visible. A rare lamp complete with vessel, burner, reflector and all glasses. Some chips to front lens. Unrestored. 381 Pair of cast brass Pullman Car Plates: “Built Pullman- Standard Car MFG. Co.” Brown paint to back 17.75x1.5in; “A.C.F. American Car and Foundry Co. Berwick Plant A.C.F.” 18x1.6in. v.g.c. (2).
370 BR(E) double royal enamel Poster Board Header “British Railways”. No chips and in fine condition. 25.5in. long. 382 Inter-City stainless steel Swallow from a Class 43 Power Car. A right facing example in v.g.c.
371 A Trio of cast iron Wagon Plates from the same Caledonian Rly Wagon No. 16098 of 1902. Comprises registration plate, re-building plate and Genly. Repaired by N. Westwould plate. A scarce group with some weathering which would be much improved with face painting. Mounted on a wooden panel. (3). 383 GNR large 3 aspect Handlamp. The body stamped “GNR 8027” has a brass plate “Great Northern Railway Company Bardney South Box No. 3”. Complete with integral vessel, burner, reflector and all glasses. Part restored.

Fine North Wales System Map to top. v.g.c. with no folds. 384 Carriage Print “The River Orwell at Ipswich, Suffolk by Leonard Squirrell from the ‘LNER’ 1948 - 55 Series. A rural foreground contrasting with the industry on the far river bank. v.g.c. and in an original LNER brown Crommoid glazed frame.
