337 BR(M) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Old Roan”. Tiny chip to ‘N’ plus a couple of tiny chips to the white edge. Fine deep colour and shine. A former LMS station between Liverpool and Ormskirk. 349 A Caledonian Rly. Joiners Rip Saw. The blade is ornately etched “Alex Mathieson & Sons Saracen Tool Works Glasgow” with the initials “CR” fret cut near the wooden handle. v.g.c. 29in. long.
338 Glass Paperweight. The base acid etched “The Star Pressed Brick Co. Peterborough. Works:- Great Northern & Midland Railways”. v.g.c. 4.4x2.5in. 350 “L&NWR Co. 1” oval cast iron Bridge Numberplate. v.g.c. and face restored only.
339 Nottingham City Transport double sided enamel Sign “N.C.T. Trolley Bus Request Stop”. One face in v.g.c., the other presumed similar but overpainted. 15.75x15in. Together with a boxed Corgi Classic die cast model of a Nottingham Trolleybus in mint condition. (2). 351 Carriage Print “Thaxted, near Elsenham, Essex” by F.W. Baldwin from the ‘LNER’ 1948-55 Series. A nice view of the half timbered buildings. v.g.c. and in a glazed frame.
340 Cast iron Locomotive Shedplate “2F” (Woodford Halse then Bescot). Face restored only. 352 Lancashire & Yorkshire Rly. brass Locomotive Whistle complete with top mounted lever. v.g.c. and nicely polished. 14in. tall.
341 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “LMS Built Derby”. Face restored only. As carried by ex-MR Class 3F 0-6-0 loco no. 43832 built in 1908. It was w/d in 11/1961 from Trafford Park and cut up at Derby Works in 1/1962. 10.4x6in. 353 Oval cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “LMS Built 1935 Crewe”. Ex-loco condition with plenty of service bruising and torch bubbling to left bolt hole. 10.4x6in. As carried by ‘Jubilee’ Class 4-6-0 Loco No. 45671 “Prince Rupert”. A Newton Heath, Longsight and Llandudno Jct. engine, it was w/d from Warrington 11/63 and cut up at Crewe Works 1/64.
342 BR(E) flangeless enamel Station Doorplate “Ticket Office”. A couple of tiny edge chips only. Fine deep colour and shine. 354 Signal Box Diagram “Woburn Sands” showing the lines to Bedford and Bletchley. BR(LMR) and dated for Nov. 1987. v.g.c. and in its original unglazed wooden frame. 38.5x19in. o/all.
343 BR(E) double royal pictorial Poster “Daily to and from the Continent / Freight through wagons by train ferry” with an outline map Harwich / Dover to Zeebrugge / Dunkerque. Minor edge tears only and no folds. v.g.c. 355 Double sided enamel Sign with wall flange “For Sale Apply Partridge Son & Johnson King’s Chambers Queen St. Derby. Tel. 3380”. Minor loss to flange and very light chips only. Good colour & shine. 20x16in.
344 LNER oak cased Mantle Clock. The 8in. silvered dial is engraved “James Walker London LNER 12455”. The Astral fusee movement complete with pendulum and key. Records show that the clock was located in the Goods Manager’s Office No.46 at Liverpool Street station. v.g.c. and working order. 356 Rectangular cast brass Locomotive Builders Plate “The English Electric Company Ltd. London No. D2895 / D611 1961. The Vulcan Foundry Ltd. Locomotive Works, England. Original chrome plating to edges and back. 10x4.4in. As carried by BR Bo-Bo Type 3 DE Loco No. D6732 New to Neville Hill, Leeds. Later Class 37 No. 37032.
345 LMS small LNWR pattern 3 aspect Handlamp. Body is embossed “LMS”. Complete with vessel, burner, reflector and all glasses including a bullseye lens. Restored. 357 “London & North Western Railway” original small ‘Britannia’ Transfer nicely mounted onto a painted wooden panel. 7.5x7.5in. v.g.c. As applied to the body sides of the company’s Travelling Post Office carriages. Scarce.
346 Heavy brass Single Line Key Token “Kirk Sandall - Markham Siding 45”. A GCR / South Yorks Joint Line location north east of Doncaster. 358 Railway Horse Brasses: “LNER” oval harness decoration (H95); “LNER” shield blinker (H105); “LNER Rosette bearing a small additional “N” (H100) and “GNR” shield blinker (H103). All v.g.c. (4).
347 A Locomotive Screw Reverse Handle thought to be from the cab of an ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 loco. 359 BR(W) fully flanged enamel Station Totem Sign “Tilehurst”. One re-touched chip to upper panel / edge otherwise good condition with a repainted flange. A former GWR station between Reading and Pangbourne.
348 A Locomotive Vacuum Brake Control Handle also thought to be from the cab of an ex-LMS 8F 2-8-0 Loco. 360 GER 3asp. Sliding Knob Handlamp. Top stamped “GER WW 8 Dist. (Way & Works), and has remains of “Defries & Sons London” makers plate. Body has a brass re-location plate “London & North Eastern Railway Misterton” (GN & GE Joint station n.w. of Gainsborough, closed in 1963). Complete with original “GER” vessel, “LNER” burner, reflector and all glasses. Unrestored with the back handle removed.
