Somerset & Dorset Joint Railway mahogany cased 12in. Wall Clock with a fusee movement, the movement plates being spaced via turned brass pillars. the restored dial is written “S&DJR 176”, the number also painted on the back of the dial and stamped into a brass label inside the side door. Repair dates inside for 1882, 1920 & 1946. A fine clock reputed to be from Bath Locomotive Depot in working order complete with pendulum and key. |
