Later shed allocations were Slough, Reading, Taunton, Severn Tunnel Junction and Worcester. Withdrawn July 1964 and cut up by Birds of Morriston in Dec. 1964. The cabside is in v.g.c. London Underground quad royal Poster “As the dove to the ark, so the artist to the passenger” by Philip Connard (1875 - 1958). Produced for the L.U. in 1930 and printed by the Baynard Press. A somewhat whimsical image of artists at their easels within a woodland scene with an angel and musical notes emanating from birds in the trees. No folds or damage but mounted on board, laminated and in an aluminium frame 1278x1025mm. (50x40in) overall. A scarce image. |
