“Ryde Pier Company” large 25mm. nickel Uniform Button. Full title on a belted garter around a castellated tower. This company was LSWR and LBSCR Joint and operated a line from St. John’s Road to Ryde Pier Head which opened in 1880. The button has lost its rear shank and has a tiny face hole, fortunately in the castle doorway! It is also a tad tarnished but is a great rarity not photographed in Froggatt main book or supplement. |

Locomotive Cab Regulator Handle 480mm. (19in) long. Chisel marked “183”. This was carried by Irish Great Northern Railway Class SG2 0-6-0 Tender Loco built by Beyer Peacock in 1915 (Works No. 5899). The engine became Ulster Transport Authority No. 42 and was withdrawn in 1961. The regulator is unrestored. |

Nailsworth was a former MR station opened in Feb. 1867, terminus of the branch from Dudbridge on the Stonehouse - Stroud Line. It was officially closed by B.R. in June 1949. |

Complete with Bulpitt Patent vessel, LNER burner, reflector, copper lens cone and all glasses (green shade is plastic). Unrestored with a non-standard back handle. |
