Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “92205” as carried by BR Class ‘9F’ 2-10-0 with double chimney new in 1959 to Bristol St. Philips Marsh. it was then transferred to Bath Green Park in 1960 for working heavy holiday trains over the Somerset & Dorset Line. It then moved to Eastleigh for a year before heading north to York and Wakefield. Withdrawal came in June 1967. It was cut up by Drapers of Hull in Feb. 1968. The plate is face restored only. |

It is fitted with a tapper and a trembler arm to give it a different sound recognition. From a signal box at Aberdeen transferred there from south of the border. Ex-box condition. |

This year of course is the 150th. Anniversary of the bridge. |

Cast brass Locomotive Nameplate “Lady Beaumont” as carried by 0-4-0 Saddle Tank with outside cylinders built by Hawthorn Leslie in 1929 (Works No. 3729) which worked at New Lount Colliery Leicestershire. The loco was scrapped on site in December 1963. This attractive plate is lightly face polished only with ex-loco edges and back which is tapered to fit the saddle tank. 1270mm. (50in) long. |
