North Eastern Railway 3 aspect Handlamp. The top bears a large copper plate “NER Pateley Bridge”. The body has a “NER” oval brass plate. Complete with “NER” vessel, reflector, “NER” lens cone and all glasses. The rape oil burner is missing but this is a fine unrestored lamp with the top handle bound in copper wire, from a branch line terminus station which closed in April 1951. |

Oak cased 8in dial Wall Clock with fusee movement manufactured for the BR Southern Region by Grimshaw, Baxter & Elliott, circa 1950. The original service dial with 24 hour numerals is lettered “BR(S) 11069” and records show that the clock was located within the Engineers Permanent Way Office at Warminster, later transferred with that department to Salisbury. v.g.c. and working order complete with pendulum and key. |

LNWR brass Carbide Handlamp with “Lucas King of the Road” makers plate. The lamp is embossed “LNWR” three times and is complete and in v.g.c. This is the earlier pattern with small circular base which made the lamp liable to fall over! Later examples had a larger base which rectified the problem. |

Opened in July 1872 and closed in Oct 1965. |
