Wooden Delivery Box nicely lettered down both long sides “Return to EDME Ltd. LNER Mistley”. The ends are lettered “Charge 10/-” and have cut out hand grips. Someone has made a very good wooden lid for the box so it becomes a very useful storage item, the new wood matching very well. v.g.c. throughout. 430x320x193mm (17x12.6x7.6in). EDME are suppliers of malt and cereal products for the baking industry and are still in business today at Mistley. |

The lamp features two fine bullseye lenses, the red set in a heavy brass bezel and a clear to the opposite face. Complete with vessel, burner and the original leather strap fixing to the carrying handle. Very good ex-service condition. |

A Cab Light Fitting from English Electric Co-Co Type 5 ‘Deltic’ Diesel Locomotive No. 55004 “Queens Own Highlander”. Comprises cast opal glass with an embossed Art Deco design protected by steel bars set in a metal surround the whole retaining much original chrome plated finish. The bulkhead portion is marked “55004” and is complete with original wiring. Ex-loco cond. The loco was introduced to Traffic in April 1961, named May 64, withdrawn Feb 81 and cut up at Doncaster Aug. 83. |
