Locomotive Nameplate “Songs of Praise” as carried by High Speed Train Power Car No. 43106 delivered new to traffic 21/10/1978. Named “Songs of Praise” by actress and presenter the late Dame Thora Hird at York on 13/6/1989 in honour of the well known BBC television programme. 43106 was part of the original HST set no. 254026, the other power car being 43107. This set was based at Neville Hill for quite some time in the late 80’s, early 90’s. The nameplate is of the reflective stainless steel type and is in very good condition. 800x150mm. (31.5x6in). |

(26.4in) long. A former GER station between Stratford and Ilford. An ideal light source for the railway room or workshop but check it out first before you use it as a precaution. |
