The loco is currently preserved in Madrid Railway Museum. The plate is face restored only. 281x153mm. (11x6in). |

Cast iron Locomotive Smokebox Numberplate “43039”. As carried by Ivatt Class 4MT 2-6-0, the Class introduced in 1947. This loco was a long time Leeds Holbeck engine. Its regular workings included the Leeds - Morecambe trains that ran via the Lune Valley line and Lancaster Green Ayre. It is reputed to have worked the last freight on the Skipton - Ilkley (via Bolton Abbey) route prior to closure in 1965. The smokebox plate is in fine condition, restored many years ago. |

Oval cast brass Locomotive Tender Plate “734” as attached to Peppercorn Class A1 Pacific No. 60116 “Hal O’ The Wynd”. The loco & tender were built at Doncaster and went into Traffic Oct. 1948 to Heaton MPD. Then followed a two year period at Tweedmouth. Withdrawal came in June 1965 from Gateshead to be cut up by Hughes Bolckow, Blyth. The plate is unrestored with the left bolt hole enlarged. 129x78mm. (5x3in). |

GNR engraved brass Locomotive Builder’s Plate “Great Northern Railway Co. Makers Doncaster No. 1492 1919” as carried by Class J23 0-6-0T Loco No. 211 ex works in June 1919. It became LNER Class J51 No. 3211 in Nov. 1925 and Class J50 in March 1929. Renumbered 8910 in May 1946 and BR 68910 in March 1949. A West Riding engine it was w/d from Wakefield in Nov. 1962, cut up at Doncaster. The plate is in fine condition lightly face polished only with the number “3211” clearly chiselled in the back. 312x187mm. (12.25x7.4in) |
